PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE (the “Terms,” this “Agreement,” or the “Instrument”) IN THEIR ENTIRETY AND WITH ABUNDANT CARE. By accessing, loading, rendering, clicking, tapping, embedding, framing, hot-linking, screenshotting, demonstrating, evaluating, or otherwise availing yourself of this software in any manner whatsoever (collectively, “Use”), you irrevocably and unconditionally acknowledge, represent, warrant, and covenant that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by every word, clause, comma, and semicolon set forth herein.
This Agreement is entered into by and between you (the “User,” “you,” or “the party of clicking instinct”) and Nate Sheridan, an individual, together with Autofoc.us LLC (collectively, the “Owner”). Your Use constitutes your full, knowing, and voluntary assent to these Terms. If you do not agree, your sole and exclusive remedy is to cease all Use immediately, close the tab, and carry on with your day unencumbered.
This software, including without limitation its source code, object code, design, architecture, look, feel, iconography, copy, arrows, polygons, blurred map thumbnails, and every clever little feature contained therein (the “Software”), is and shall at all times remain the sole, exclusive, and indivisible property of Nate Sheridan and Autofoc.us LLC, who retain all right, title, and interest in and to the same, in perpetuity, throughout the universe, in all media now known or hereafter devised.
The Software was conceived, authored, and developed independently, on the Owner’s own time, on the Owner’s own equipment, of the Owner’s own volition, and not as a “work made for hire,” not within the course or scope of any employment, not at the instance or expense of any employer, not using the confidential information, trade secrets, or resources of any employer, and not created for, commissioned by, or specifically tailored to any particular job, workplace, or engagement at the time of its creation.
The mere fact that the Owner may, now or in the future, elect to use the Software at, for, or in connection with a place of employment— including, for the sake of candor, the building of features that happen to be useful to the Owner’s own workflow — shall notbe construed to transfer, assign, convey, encumber, dedicate, or grant any ownership, license, lien, equity, or claim of any kind to any employer, workplace, supervisor, colleague, contractor, affiliate, or other third party. No such party has contributed to, commissioned, financed, or acquired any right in the Software, and any assertion to the contrary is hereby expressly, emphatically, and pre-emptively disclaimed.
This Software is not owned, operated, endorsed, maintained, certified, or underwritten by any company other than Autofoc.us LLC, and is offered independently of any organization with which the Owner may otherwise be associated.
By using this Software you acknowledge and agree that you are not visiting, entering, occupying, trespassing upon, or accessing the real property of any person or entity other than Nate Sheridan. All maps, lots, zones, pins, lanes, arrows, camping spots, and spatial representations are illustrative digital depictions for workflow convenience and do not constitute a survey, a deed, a right of entry, a license to enter land, a boundary determination, or an invitation to set foot anywhere. Always defer to real-world signage, staff, and the laws of physics.
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS,” “AS AVAILABLE,” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS,” without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, ambient, or aspirational, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, pixel-perfection, or that the arrows will point exactly where you wanted them to.
You expressly agree that neither your workplace, nor Nate Sheridan, nor Autofoc.us LLC is always (or ever) responsible for visual bugs, rendering glitches, misaligned labels, blurry thumbnails, off-by-a-pixel zones, tiles that load slowly, dots that are the wrong shade of blue, or any other cosmetic, graphical, or display imperfection, however arising. Visual bugs are a fact of life; you assume them gladly.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Owner be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or imaginative damages, nor for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, parking spaces, or camping spots, arising out of or in connection with your Use of the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The Owner’s aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed the grand total of zero dollars (US $0.00).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Owner from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your Use of the Software or your breach of these Terms.
In the interest of full and disarming transparency: this Software was originally built simply to speed up workflow and map camping spots, and then it grew into so much more than that. That is the whole charming story. Its continued evolution is a labor of personal interest and independent craft.

All map data, configurations, zones, pins, lanes, arrows, labels, addresses, names, notes, and other content that you create, draw, upload, type, import, or otherwise input into the Software (“Your Data”) is and shall remain your property. The Owner claims no ownership of, and asserts no proprietary interest in, Your Data.
Your Data will not be used, sold, rented, licensed, mined, monetized, profiled, aggregated, or repurposed for any purpose whatsoever other than storing it and rendering it back to you within the maps. No advertising. No resale. No model training. No surreptitious snooping. It exists to draw your maps, full stop.
You acknowledge and agree that, by entering Your Data into the Software, you are knowingly, voluntarily, and willingly placing that data onto the internet, and that you alone own Your Data and control with whom it is shared — whether by shareable link, embedded iframe, member invitation, public-visibility toggle, or any other means. You represent and warrant that you possess all rights necessary to store and share whatever you choose to store and share.
You are solely and exclusively responsible for your sharing decisions and their consequences. If a confidential, sensitive, proprietary, or otherwise restricted map or dataset is shared with, transmitted to, embedded for, forwarded to, or made accessible by any person or party who should not have received it — whether through your action or inaction, a mistaken link, an over-permissive setting, a forwarded URL, a screenshot, or any other circumstance — that is your responsibility and not the Owner’s. The Owner expressly disclaims any and all liability for misuse, leakage, exposure, interception, or unauthorized access to Your Data arising from the manner in which you elect to share or expose it.
You may export Your Data at any time. Your Data is yours to take with you whenever you wish.
The continued operation, availability, uptime, hosting, support, or maintenance of the Software and this site is not promised, guaranteed, or warranted, and may be modified, suspended, degraded, or discontinued at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without cause. This is a labor of craft, not a service-level commitment.
That said, the Owner commits to the following courtesy: in the event the Software is to be permanently discontinued or taken offline, the Owner will (a) keep a means of data export available, and (b) provide users with reasonable advance notice before shutdown, so that you have a fair opportunity to retrieve and preserve Your Data.
Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire understanding between you and the Owner with respect to the Software and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings. Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect, as though the offending clause had never been typed. No Waiver. No failure to enforce any provision shall constitute a waiver of it. Modification. The Owner may revise these Terms at any time, and your continued Use constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
